As believers, we are called to give generously to support the work of God's kingdom and to meet the needs of others. In 2 Corinthians 9:7, the Bible tells us, "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Giving is an act of worship and obedience to God, acknowledging His sovereignty over our lives and resources. Additionally, Jesus himself teaches us in Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." When we give faithfully and cheerfully, we demonstrate our trust in God's provision and participate in His work of blessing others and advancing His kingdom on earth.
